Angel Project

November 19th, 2007

This year we are participating in the Angel Project. Please bring a couple dollars or some stocking stuffers (read below) to the next team meeting on Dec. 3.

The Angel Project helps kids who would otherwise not be getting any gifts for Christmas because of their financial situation or other issues. The person’s name is Noah and he is 8 years old. He is interested in Dragon stuff and a remote helicopter. It would be nice if everyone can bring a couple dollars to the next meeting so we can get him something that he likes. Also, we are looking for stocking stuffers such as candy, toothbrushes, toothpaste, gloves/mittens, a scarf, school stuff, crayons, markers, blankets, combs/brushes, or socks. Pants/shirt size is boys 8/10. These items will be used to put together a stocking for him. You can turn all this in at the next meeting on Dec. 3, or if you are at McDowell, you may turn it in to Ms. Kostis in the Senior High Library.

This is a perfect opportunity to demonstrate our gracious professionalism by helping out someone in need. Thanks in advance to all those who bring something in. I’m sure it will be appreciated by Noah.
