Lunch With Dean Kamen
January 28th, 2008As mentioned before, Dean Kamen (founder of FIRST) will be the featured speaker at the Edinboro University Millennial Lunchean on Thursday, March 6 (McDowell B-day and Late Start) at the Bayfront Convention Center. All the Erie area teams are invited to set up a booth and demonstrate their robots from 10:30-11:30am.
The luncheon will begin around 11:30am with Dean speaking after lunch. Setup will be from 9:30-10:30am. There are seats available for team members, coaches, and mentors.
This will be an approved field trip for the day and there will be no cost to students. Please fill out the form you received in homeroom (or inform one of the team advisors) as soon as possible as to whether or not you can go. We need an accurate count by Thursday, January 31, 2008.
You will receive further information and permission slips in February.
