November 24th, 2008Dean Kamen was featured in Sunday’s Erie Times News. According to the article, Dean Kamen bought a two-acre island off the coast of New York. After the power company cut off power to it, he transformed the island to be energy-independent using solar power and wind power. And you’ll never guess the method of transportation used to get around the island, segways.
