Math Options Day will be on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 from 9am-2pm at Penn State Behrend. This is for girls on the team. See Ms. Kostis in the library for details.

Sponsor Appreciation Night/Open House

On Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 5-7pm (be there at 4:45) we will be having our Sponsor appreciation night/open house. It will be in the library at the Senior High. This is to thank all of our sponsors and to show our robots. All members must wear their team shirts.

End of Year Banquet

The end of the year banquet will take place on May 21 at 6pm in the McDowell Senior High Library. We will celebrate all the great things we’ve done this year. There will be food and hopefully dancing.

Robotics Demonstration

We have been invited to participate in demonstrations before (and maybe during) the River Rats areana football game on Saturday, May 3 at the Civic Center. We can take about 10 students. At this time we don’t have a lot of information, but are checking to see who might be interested.

Please let Ms. Kostis know if this is something you would like to be a part of and we will get back to you with further information. You would need to provide your own transportation. We don’t know if you would need to buy a ticket or if one would be provided.

Michigan Videos Added

I added some videos from the Michigan Regional. You can view them on the media page. One is the rap that the Chairmans group did and the other is a video pan of the arena. I don’t have any good videos of the matches. If you have some video or pictures you want to share, bring them to the next meeting and I’ll add them to the website.

Website Upgraded

We recently upgraded the software that runs our website (Wordpress). There were some big changes in the software and some features aren’t yet available for this version, so there are slight differences on the website.
